The Peach Steel Caridina shrimp is a captivating freshwater dwarf shrimp species admired for its delicate peachy-pink coloration and translucent sheen. Like its Blue Steel counterpart, it is a selectively bred variety of Caridina cantonensis, part of the Taiwan Bee shrimp lineage, known for producing some of the most visually striking shrimp in the hobby. Peach Steel shrimp display a soft peach or light pink hue, often with a translucent or metallic appearance that sets them apart in aquariums. They are small, typically reaching 1-1.25 inches (2.5-3 cm) in length. These shrimp are peaceful and social, thriving in groups. They are highly active and enjoy grazing on biofilm and algae.
